For runtimes connection and SCADA server to database, storing max. 40 000 data series. Contains API for connecting of other systems. It is used where historical data storage is no longer suitable.

Merbon DB is a powerful database designed to store large amounts of techno-logical process data. It uses data compression and provides open interface for access from 3rd party programs and systems. The database is file-oriented which makes the backup easy.

  • Other systems which require fast storage and retrieval of high data volumes
  • Installations where open and unlimite access to data is required
 

If this module is not installed the trend data is stored in proprietary data files. All trend functions are fully available even without Merbon DB at sites up to about 10 000 datapoints.
